Yes, this flower is fighting for its life right now. It has been in my hands for a week and half, and it is still going strong. I have really enjoyed the thrill of this piece, the flower, the stem is rather ugly, but it doesn't have to be looked at, the flower is so powerful. I salute life given the flower to keep going for me to enjoy.
I have never felt one with the flower- it is too powerful in another direction than I have available. I am in awe of the flower, that awe continues to grow and weave a delightfulness. This flower became a spectacle that was brought to me- it came out of nowhere. All the other flowers that were bunched in with this one have been tossed. This one is fighting for it's life.
